2/21/23Hibernation with MaggieExplore what hibernation is and how it helps animals survive the winter! Meet animals that hibernate like the hedgehog and tree frog. Use your creativity to build hibernation burrows for animals and yourself.  We will play games to practice our hibernation skills.

2/22/23—Migration with Ryan: Did you know that the bar-tailed godwit has the longest nonstop migration for a bird travelling over 7,500 miles (the distance from Alaska to New Zealand)? Or that monarch butterflies migrate in colonies numbering in the tens of thousands in order to stay warm as they travel to the mountains of Mexico? In this camp we are going to further explore the behavior of migration through education, arts and crafts and games!

2/23/23—Animal Coverings with Ian: Why do birds have feathers? Why do mammals have fur? Feathers, fur, scales, and skin play a big role in where animals can live and what they can do. Learn how a variety of animal coverings help them survive and thrive throughout the winter. Animal shows, a craft, themed games, a scavenger hunt, and more are packed into this 3-hour camp day.
