Party Like an Animal at Tanglewood!
Children's Birthday Parties Include
A total of three hours in the auditorium, 1/2 of the lodge, or pavilion with tables and chairs. Our staff will provide a 20-30 minute educational program with three animals of your choice! Unfortunately, we do not allow any balloons, confetti, glitter or hay in our buildings.
Booking Information
Membership must be active on the date of the party. As of March 20, 2023- Full payment is required within 7 days of scheduling to secure your reservation. If payment is not made, you forfeit your spot. 50% of party fees are refundable if cancellation occurs at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled party, no refunds thereafter. Membership fees are nonrefundable.
Birthday Party Availability
Saturdays only - Saturday bookings tend to fill up quickly, so please book well in advance. The lodge is not available for birthday parties during the summer camp season.
Party times are: 10:30am - 12:30pm OR 1:30pm - 3:30pm
You get 30 minutes before and after for setup and clean up.
Party Pricing
$85 Members
$135 Non-Members (includes 1 yr. membership)
Party fees include 10 children and unlimited adults. There is a $2 fee for each extra child three and up.
Party Animals
The birthday child gets to pick out three animals to meet up close and personal! Animal availability is subject to change. Usually, you can choose from the following: owl, hawk, gecko, frog, toad, turtle, snake, guinea pig, ferret, chinchilla, bunny, bearded dragon, cockroach, tarantula, scorpion. We recommend choosing at least one animal your child can pet - the birds, amphibians, tarantula, and scorpion cannot be touched. Bernice, our tortoise, cannot make appearances at the party due to her size.
