Kids Astronomy Blast Off Night 2!
4th-6th grade
How far is that? Distances in space and the constellation Gemini
Saturday February 25th
6pm-8pm

Have you ever wondered how far a light year is, or even what it is? We will start off the night with a presentation on distances in our galaxy and surrounding universe. Then, the children will break up into groups for activities. At the end of the night amateur astronomer Ian will highlight the constellation Gemini. If the night is clear then we will have time to go out for viewing, and if it’s cloudy then he will take you on a cool tour of the constellation using really cool software on the big screen. This is going to be a really fun night.
