Great American Outdoors! Hike & Hawk Presentation

First Saturday family program! Join Ian for a hike around the BLUE trail, then meet a RED tailed hawk! Learn about native wildlife and about how beautiful our country's natural wonders are. Wear red, white, and blue, just for fun!

Free. The Blue trail is 1.7 miles and has at least a hundred feet of elevation change, including one steep ascent/descent among the hemlocks (definitely not for strollers). This program will run in light mist but in truly inclement weather we'll cancel.

Nature Center and Museum hours: OPEN Tuesday-Friday, 9am-4pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm. CLOSED Sunday-Monday. Trails are open dawn to dusk year-round.

Admission to the Nature Center and Museum is FREE to all. Please consider becoming a member of Tanglewood!
