  • The event says Free above, but it is not free. Each session is a $50 minimum due the day of only.

    Although you don't owe anything now you will have to pay the day of the event. If you cancel at the last minute, do not notify us of your cancellation, or you are a "no show" there will be a $10 fee.

On Saturday, October 15th, LaVere Media in Elmira will be on the grounds of Tanglewood Nature Center to offer a unique portrait opportunity for you and your family.  This is a perfect time to receive professional quality photography at a special rate. Your sitting fee is only $50 and includes a complimentary 16"x20" color portrait of your choice.  You will also be helping Tanglewood because 50% of your fee will go directly to support education programs here at Tanglewood.

LaVere Media also offers packages and holiday cards.  They have generously committed to donating 10% of each order back to Tanglewood Nature Center.

Rich LaVere will be taking photos from 10am-4pm. Time slots are available every 20 minutes.

Nature Center and Museum hours: OPEN Tuesday-Friday, 9am-4pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm. CLOSED Sunday-Monday. Trails are open dawn to dusk year-round.

Admission to the Nature Center and Museum is FREE to all. Please consider becoming a member of Tanglewood!
