Winter Wiggles: kids, critters, literacy, and defeating cabin fever. Bundle up and come over to the Nature Center each Wednesday!

Our FREE Pre-K program runs from November through March. Every Wednesday morning from 10am-11am. Each program will include a story for the kids with an up-close-and-personal animal guest.

11/9—Tortoise and Bunny. Story: The Tortoise and the Hare, with special guest storyteller Bonnie Schweizer

11/16—Barred Owl. Story: Owl Babies

11/30—Chinchilla. Story: Sometimes I Like to Curl Up in a Ball

12/7—Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. Story: A Day in the Life of a Cockroach

12/14—Wood Turtle. Story: How the Turtle Got Its Shell

12/21—Fancy Rats. Story: The Pesky Rat

12/28—Hedgehog. Story: Hedgehugs

1/4—Geckos. Story: If I Were a Lizard

1/11—Hawks. Story: How do Dinosaurs Say Happy Birthday?

Nature Center and Museum hours: OPEN Tuesday-Friday, 9am-4pm. Saturday 10am-4pm. CLOSED Sundays and Mondays. Trails are open dawn-dusk year-round.
