Kick off the new year with a wonderful winter Owl Walk!

Join Laine for a night hike to call in some of our native wild owls. She’ll begin the evening with some basics about owl habitats, adaptations, and behavior, and introduce you to our resident non-releasable owls, Sophie the Great Horned Owl, and our as-yet-unnamed brand new Barred Owl. Then hit the trail! BYO headlamp/flashlight.

This event is FREE but pre-registration is required. Too large of a group makes it harder to call in owls - we are capping attendance at 30 guests.

Registration is restricted to active members of Tanglewood. (Yes, you can totally become a member of Tanglewood in order to reserve your spot, that's fair play!)

Nature Center and Museum location:
443 Coleman Avenue Elmira NY 14903

Phone: (607) 732-6060
