Wild Wetlands Camp

July 10th - July 14th

Grades 3-5

·       Look under the surface of the pond and spot egg sacs, creepy crawly crustaceans, and see who’s hiding in the algae

·       Learn how the earth purifies water and build your own water filter – with dirt!

·       Find fossils from the prehistoric wetlands and the water that covered New York millions of years ago

·        Meet the squirmy salamanders and feisty frogs who rely on our wetlands

June 29th- July 3rd   K-2 & 3-5 Sessions

Start your summer out right by taking a walk on the wild side! This camp will embrace all that is wild at Tanglewood, from the tops of the trees to deep in the dirt and everything in between! Discover how our ecosystems work and all that inhabits them. Campers will dissect owl pellets, use binoculars to look for birds, capture bugs and identify them, inspect a fallen log, and much more! Each day is a new theme and campers enjoy live animals, crafts, games, hikes and exploration.
