Guided Hike - Blue Trail

  • 26 Sep 2020
  • 10:00 AM

Join us for a guided hike this fall!

Hikes depart from the trail kiosk at 10am.

This week, Ian will lead a hike around our Blue Trail. This trail is 2 miles long, with around 100' of elevation change, including one steep section in the hemlocks during the middle part of the hike. The trail is rugged, with many roots and rocks, and sections may be muddy if there has been recent rain.

Because our trails are narrow, please wear masks while hiking, to ensure everyone's safety.

Hiking boots or sturdy sneakers are strongly recommended.  Water bottles are strongly recommended.  Hats, sunscreen, and insect repellent are recommended.

Expect to walk at a comfortable adult pace. Families are welcome - older children may be more comfortable walking this distance, little legs may find it challenging.

This hike is weather dependent. In inclement weather (heavy rain, thunder/lightning) it will be canceled.
